Kaylee FaceTimed me this morning a little before 9:00. We talked about her starting to get up earlier each morning to start the day, but that hasn't materialized yet. And I have to share in that blame. I sometimes get caught up in all of my stuff and then I've also never been a "drill sergeant" as a Dad. I'm also not a morning person either. Well, I'm a morning person but it's at Midnight to 2:00am, not 7:00am. I also feel better with her sleeping closer to her meds in the morning, so I don't know what is best. I think for now, I'll just let her stay on that schedule.
She went downstairs for her meds and then started working on getting the trash up. She said we needed to make sure we didn't forget about it. I went ahead and asked Mom about oatmeal because I was already hungry. Kaylee stopped so she could eat breakfast with us. I started working on a winery post since we are going to be open this weekend. It always sneaks up on me. Then I worked on a few changes to one project before getting ready to go to Stuart.
Kaylee and Mom had leftovers for lunch at the house and I grabbed food on the way to the office. Kaylee watched TV while she ate and then she got ready to go run some errands with Mom. They went to the store and then went over to see Jeanette Filpi. Jeannette and Gary had gotten Kaylee some stuff for graduation and we hadn't been able to coordinate schedules while she has been home. They stayed over there a while and talked since Jeanette is gone most of the time for work.
Kaylee and Mom were a little late getting back to the house this afternoon, so she didn't lay down for her nap until after 4:15. Not that it is out of the regular from time to time. She slept about an hour and texted us that she was awake. She laid around for a little bit and worked on a crossword puzzle. She also told me that Mom helped her on it. After they came downstairs, Kaylee hung out with Dad for a little bit until dinner was ready. They texted me to let me know the timing of dinner, so I made it on time. We did not get to eat out on the deck this evening. The weather definitely didn't allow for that with the rain and dropping temps.
After cleaning up from dinner, Kaylee hung out in the dining room with everybody and then went to the living room. She did some coloring and talked to Thomas on the phone. For quite a while tonight. Tabatha then went in and hung out with her. I worked on a project this evening until everybody was ready to go to bed. I am hoping to go to sleep early tonight because I didn't do a very good job of that last night. We played Wordle and I made Tabatha and Kaylee mad at me by solving it on my third try. We played mini crossword and Kaylee finished her journal entry. Tabatha was asleep around 11:15 and Kaylee even turned her light off at 11:30.
