Kaylee took her meds and then made a Breakfast Essential. Mom had actually had a bReakfast Essential earlier this morning. I scrambled an egg and had an egg sandwich and then got ready to leave. We had a couple reach out earlier in the week about coming to the vineyard to take pictures of our LOVE sign. I didn't think anyone would be there, so I told them I would make sure to go and open the gate for them. Even though Dad and Conner were over there working on the crush pad, I went over since I had been emailing with them. They are from Norfolk and was going to our sign, the Town of Stuart's sign, Nancy's Candy, a couple of others, and the Meadows of Dan Visitors Center too. I told them that I designed the Visitors Center sign and did all of the illustration work for Nancy's Candy's sign also. I think I have done four of the ones here in the county. It's really cool that these signs bring people to our area.
Toward lunch time, Kaylee and Mom went to Stuart since Kaylee missed out on Taco Salad last week. I was at the office at this point working, so they got one for me and dropped it off. They took their lunch to the winery so they could see how far the guys had gotten today. They totally finished the one wall and then put the black felt paper on the wall with the windows and garage door openings.vI came over about 2:30 and helped them until 4:00 when they were done.
Kaylee and Mom went to the house about 3:30 for Kaylee's nap. Around 4:30, I went back to my office and Tabatha happened to be coming up Main Street as I pulled into my parking lot. She came over and we talked and then some other friends came by and we talked with them. Kaylee woke up and texted Tabatha and me to let us know she had a good nap and was now awake. Tabatha headed home to start dinner.
We were going to have a full house tonight because we not only had the six of us, but Kenzie and Thomas were also going to be over for dinner. Tabatha made chicken enchilada cups and Mexican street corn. Kaylee helped her make it. This morning before we even left the house, she had gotten her recipe book out from when she had culinary in high school to find the recipes for those.
After dinner, Tabatha, Kaylee, Thomas, Conner, and Kenzie played cards. Thomas hadn't played any of the card games we play, so they taught him. I'm not sure all of the games they played but I do know they taught him the game Garbage. Kenzie headed home about 9:30 and Thomas stayed until sometime after 10:00. We all talked downstairs for a while and then went upstairs a little after 11:00. Kaylee wrote in her journal and then played games. Tabatha is on spring break starting tomorrow, so today was her Friday. She hasn't had the entire week off as staff that I can remember, so it's going to be nice having her around. Kaylee turned her light off at Midnight.
