Kaylee slept through the night and woke up about 8:40. I slept right at seven hours and actually had just woken up when she was going downstairs. I don't remember the last time I slept until 9:00. Kaylee took her meds and fixed cereal for breakfast. We were going up to Hilda's house today and would be grabbing lunch around Noon, so we didn't want to eat a big breakfast.

Thomas got here about 10:00. I don't know why the girls told him to be here at 10:00, because we really weren't leaving until 11:00. He got to hang around for an hour with us and while they were getting ready. We were finally able to leave the house at 11:30 and we stopped in Meadows of Dan at Jane's Country Cafe. We all went in and ordered our food to go and then Tabatha and Kaylee went to Concord Corner Store and Thomas went to Poor Farmers Market. I stayed at Jane's until the food was ready and then I drove over to Concord Corner to get the girls. Kaylee texted Thomas and let him know we were all over there.

We got to Hilda's house and then ate lunch. Hilda is an incredibly talented artist and was having her very own art open house today. She has never sold any of her art, so this was a learning experience for her. This is why I was scanning and photographing her art to make prints. She had her art scattered about and opened her home to everyone. It didn't start until 2:00, but we wanted to be up there early to visit and hang out. We also knew my cousin Diane was going to be there early, so it was a mini family reunion.

We saw several extended family members and a bunch of friends while we were there. We even met a few new people. One woman who used to live near Hilda, talked with me about Kaylee and how she kept up with her through Hilda's updates. She had never met any of us, but she was so happy to see Kaylee and see how well she is doing. Several of the family that we don't get to see often was glad she was there since a lot of them hadn't seen her since before the wreck. Conner came up and Kenzie came with him, so people got to see all of us today. We got ready to leave about 3:30 so we could get on the road for Kaylee's nap. Conner and Kenzie left too because they were meeting up with Kenzie's family afterwards.

After we told everybody bye, which you know takes a lot longer in a rural area, we hit the road. I was feeling really tired, so Tabatha drove. If Kaylee thought she could have stayed awake until we got home, I would have just drove, but Kaylee said she was really tired already. I fell asleep on the ride too and slept almost as long as Kaylee did. She woke up about 30 minutes into her nap and put her sleep mask on to block out the sun. And she was mad. You can't laugh in the moment and make it worse, but she was mad at the world that she had woken up too early. She fell back asleep and slept another 30 minutes.

We went to Walmart after she woke up. Tabatha had to get some stuff and Thomas also wanted to grab a few things. Kaylee didn't want to get out of the van, so I sat with her. We took everything home and then drove back to Stuart Family Restaurant and had dinner. Conner and Kenzie went to Winston Salem with Brent and Angie for dinner and then to a Winston Salem Dash baseball game. They sent us pictures. We ate dinner and then came home. Mom and Dad were also here by the time we got back.

We talked about who came to Hilda's after we left and how many of the Puckett side of the family were there today. I really do love my family. Dad, Mom, Tabatha and I talked about the upcoming wedding and reception at the winery while Kaylee and Thomas went upstairs and watched a movie. Tabatha then took her final exam in her history class and is finished for the semester. She scored an 84 on the exam. Thomas left a little after 11:00 and we went upstairs to get ready for bed. We all played our games and then Kaylee turned her light out at Midnight

Also, Kaylee only had a headache when she woke up from her nap and she didn't have any kind of vision anomalies. I'll chalk that all up to good news.
