Tabatha had her first Friday off for the summer. She already told me that she only has nine more Fridays off after today. It's crazy how fast this will go by. I could hear Tabatha and Kaylee laughing and talking in Kaylee's room, so I went in there and gave them both hugs. We talked and then went downstairs for her meds. Tabatha scrambled eggs and then Kaylee started feeling weird. Not a seizure, but her vision was weird for her. And she had a headache, which she has had for a couple of days.

She went and sat in Dad's recliner and then we just asked her questions and checked things out. She started crying just a little and we asked what it was and she just said "it's not fair." And I have to agree, it's not fair at all. She is so good through seizures and headaches and not being able to drive and have her independence. But it gets to her sometimes. It gets to me more than it does her. She rolls with the punches better than I do. After a little bit, she started feeling better.

Mom had turned the oven on low and put the eggs in there and waited to toast the bread, so breakfast was still warm. When Kaylee felt up to it, we all ate on the deck and she was fine the rest of the day. I left for the office to work and I had a meeting about another project coming in. Tabatha and Kaylee got ready and went to Martinsville. They went to CosmoProf and then over to Lowes. They even stopped by the Honda place to look at vans but they didn't have any they liked. I don't want to be in the market for a van payment, but I have a feeling we are moving in that direction with the current van. It has been great for us, but it is starting to have some regular issues on us.

When they got home, Kaylee got ready and took her nap. She slept about an hour. They called me after she woke up to see what we wanted to do about dinner. I said Uptown Stagecoach on Main Street and they were good with that. I stayed at the office and then walked down when Tabatha and Kaylee got there. We ordered and talked to our friends who work there. It was a great dinner. Then we went to Walmart.

We were talking about Teresa Williams earlier because she lost her Dad this week and Luke and Levi's birthday is Saturday. Such a swing of emotions within the week. We were talking about how we need to go see them and then we ended up running into Teresa and Roger at Walmart. I'd much rather see the family in good times, but these are the times when you need your family and friends. Luke and Levi have always been so good to Kaylee, so we feel like family with them.

When we left Walmart, we went to the winery. We are open tomorrow, so Tabatha got some of the charcuterie stuff together to be ready when she gets there in the morning and we put wine in the cooler to be chilled. When we got home, Tabatha worked on winery shirts to stock up our inventory and then she and Kaylee hung out in the dining room until bedtime. They didn't turn the light off at 11:30 tonight but it was before Midnight.
