Today is the day Mark Gurney will be layed to rest. The Lord has come for him and perpared him a wonderfull place in heaven. Mark, you will be missed and you are now pain free in your new spirit body. WoW !!! Thats wonderfull. I am sorry I was not able to travel up North to pay my finale good by's. I really felt the need to write you tonight. I have never signed your guestbook before but we have one thing in common. We both have lost our moms and we loved them very much> my mom died November 19, 2004 from lung cancer and she suffered terribly. I know your pain. I feel your pain. my mom has a page but i just can't seem to update it anymore. i miss her more than words can say. They say time heals but it doesn't it just passes. I feel as I am stuck in time the day she died but the world just goes on. People get tired of hearing me talk about her the phone calls stop, when I call they are busy. Its's over for them but it never will be for me. I wish you the best that life can offer. I hope you can find peace. Please know that I feel your pain. I am so sorry for your loss. My mom's page is caringbridge.org/wv/fredafox if you ever get the chance to visit. You will see some of the things my mom went through before the cancer if you get the chance to visit. i just wanted to say thank you for this page.... my little brother had a bone marrow transplant due to ALL PH+ in august of 2002, and is now living, an amazing and thoughtful person, a freshman in high school with an amazing talent for cello. i stumbled upon your page and it struck me just how much people going through the world of cancer need good thoughts. it is easy to forget, while going through everything, to have hope and smile and look at the world with new eyes every day. so thank you for this site, and good luck with everything.

E.J. I am so sorry that I have not been around for so long! Especially during the time you so needed friends! You were always there for us and I feel I let you down!
I am very sad to read you lost your mom. I know it has been quite a few months, but I know that does not matter.
She was a wonderful person to you and your son. You guys had a wonderful bond.
I do believe in an after life and I know she is with you always in spirit!

Ej, The loss of a mother is one of the worst things we go through in life. I lost mine 12/31/2003. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her and wish she were here with me. I am praying for you and your son and that God helps heal both of you. Sorry it has been so long since we have visited.
