Well I’m giving my first update! I know I can’t top Kristina’s creative writing but I will give it a go. Yesterday was going to be a regular check up with the pulmonary team. I had said to Rick last week that I thought my spirometry readings (It’s a tube you blow into and it gives volume of air you are able to exhale) it had been declining from what they had been 2 weeks earlier. The Xray and CT scan confirmed that yes there is fluid in both lower lungs which is also known Pleural Effusion. So what does that mean for me? Well it means I will stay in the hospital this week so they can get the fluid off and then go back home feeling better. It’s one of those hiccups that they said could happen or more likely would happen. So with my family cheering me on I will do my walks in the hospital wing to make sure that I can keep up the muscles I have been getting back.
