Journal

Well it’s been over 2 weeks since I left the hospital again. So I was doing okay but could still feel shortness of breath. I had weekly X-rays and some 2x a week I think I Will be glowing. Then  we had an ultrasound done which confirmed I still had to much space around the lungs and the fluid gets trapped and stops my lungs from expanding. So they decided I needed the pluer-x pump, I can be at home with it and drain it 1x daily and rebandage it each time. The hospital said it will be real easy to do. NOPE it’s not takes the 2 of us to get it right. So how long will this take? Well they for sure will do nothing until July 1st that is when I will go back to the team. If it still giving me trouble then we’re onto an invasive surgery. So fingers crossed 🙏🏻🤞🏻 So now onto some fun things.
Rick and Lacey went with our nephews  Scott and Fred to Six Flags they hit up every Roller Coaster. I think Rick had more fun than the 10year olds. I mean I sometimes ask him when will you grow up!? I always get the same answer NEVER! Then Rick went to Elkhart for the Indy car races with his nephews and brothers. We have the boat in the water we went and sat on it a few times, quite an adjustment for me as my meds make me super sensitive to the sun to the point I can burn in the car through the windows. We will get used to these new changes. Just handling each thing 1 step at a time. Thanks to all who are still following my story. Even when I’m feeling down reading all your kind words boost me back up! So long for now.
