Chemo is FINISHED!!!!!
Round 6 finished yesterday! Man am I tired though.
Platelets going into Wednesday are at 98…not low enough to slow down chemo…Thank goodness…but low enough that I might be feeling a little crummier this go around.
Good news is…no more to have to be healthy enough for. My body was able to push through and keep me on track. Thank you God for the strength to make it to this point!
Next step is surgery. May 20th I will have an ultrasound to see how much more the tumor has shrunk and surgery details.
If everything is on track…I will have a lumpectomy on May 30th.
I will still have infusion treatments of Herceptin and Perjeta which are the hormone meds to stop the receptors from helping the abnormal cells grow. These will be every 3 weeks for 11 cycles starting May 29th. Good news is they don’t have any sickness effects, just hormones and my heart are things we have to watch.
Once we get the results from the surgery, a radiation plan will be made. That will probably start end of June beginning of July.
Keep the prayers coming! Thank you to all of you on Team Ingram and my Prayer warriors, you all are amazing!
Love you all!
