This is my story about Jim Harb

Jim has taken on the responsibility of caring for his sick mother and father. 3 years ago Jim moved in with his parents as he wanted to take care of them and to be there for them. He went through a Divorce and why not move in with his elderly parent to be there. It was s a win win situation you might say. Jim's mother was diagnosed with Cancer and after a long fight, she lost that battle. Jim watched her day in and day out to see his mother waste away to nothing. It was very sad and hurtful for him. Then his dad has been battling Alzheimer's. After loosing his wife of 50+ years the Alzheimer's took his father this past weekend. Jim has put his life on hold by his choice to watch and be near both his mother and father to now feeling empty and sad. We all know that we are going to lose our loved ones, its just how life is planned. But the emptiness and loneliness one feels is unbearable to watch. Jim has done many selfless acts of kindness, and if there were ever an award I would definitely want him to be recognized. .
