My story of caring was about .. this beautiful soul, I know she is in heaven looking down at us today. Late Grace was introduced to me by a Church pastor who lived up the road from my house. I was an executive manager who was juggling being a mum of 4 and caring for my house duties plus wearing 11 different hats at the charity organisation I was employed to. If that wasn`t challenging enough, my husband walked out on me when our forth born child was only 6 months old. This infant cried more than she slept or ate. I was losing my mind and cried alot because my last babysitter walked out on me also.Things just could get any better. But i still believed in doing good and helping people because old day you might need some help from a special someOne . We used to go for walks down our street and there was a baptist pastor who`d walk up and down our street with his family too. One day we helped him with our car . Out of the blue he asked me if there was anything he could help or pray with me about. I blurted out YES Pastor, I need a nanny not just any nanny a Christian a God fearing Nanny. two weeks we were introduced to Nanny Grace Mala, she was a christian, a God fearing one and smiled and showed love not just to my new born baby But to all my 4 children and me too. She shared the Word of God to my children and gave me courage on days I didnt feel my best.
Grace loved and nurtured Zoe , Kristopher, Cherith and Lisette as thier own mother. Even when I had to leave town for business trips Grace would care for them even better then I did sometimes. I learnt so much from this Nanny and even she is in heaven dancing with the saints and angels I know she prays for us and her legacy of love remains in our heart.
