Initially, I met Caring Bridge for a friend in coma for 82 days. Her parents not only documented her progress they also printed it all, so when Diane regained cognition, she could read what happened during that time. Next, I documented the last days of my mother’s decline with Altzheimer’s. More recently, I used Caring Bridge when I was fortunate to recover from lung cancer. Caring Bridge bridges caring among all those who deeply and supportively care.
