Hey Friends,

Tim made it home today!! He is feeling less symptomatic from the chemo and transplant. He received quite a few units of blood and platelets while in the hospital which was completely expected at this stage. He has been having some bone pain too which is actually wonderful news. It means that his body is accepting the transplanted cells and they are starting to work their magic! His blood counts are rising which is also fantastic news even though they will fluctuate some and he may need more transfusions in the near future. His appetite is still not good but every day is slightly better than the day before. It’s baby steps and we will take them!! All in all, this is a slow process, but we are headed in the right direction!
