Hello,
Once again checking in. Next big steps are on May 13th when Steve has some testing done. Bone marrow biopsy, pulmonary test and such. We are getting close to the 100 days mark which seems monumental but we are wondering how much things are going to change. Steve has still been going to the hospital 2 times per week for testing and support. He has yet to graduate to once a week because of his kidney function and platelet count.
Prayer requests at this time would be:
- That there is no cancer in his bone marrow.
- 100% donor cells in his bone marrow.
- No FLT3 gene mutation in the advanced testing.
- Steve would start to grow stronger. He is not gaining weight and really would like to.
- Just strength and hope for us. This has been a very long and exhausting journey.
We have a new granddaughter born in April. So grateful that we got to be around to see her after she was born!
