Journal
Sally has been having some good days. A home health nurse came yesterday and all her vital numbers were good. Her blood pressure was the best it has been in months. She had her last chemo drugs for this round on Wednesday and is now on the seven days off regiment. She continues to have a rash (although it is lighter than it was originally), but it does not seem to cause any problems. She was also able to wear her regular shoes today--her feet had been too swollen to get them on previously.
It is a beautiful day today, with lots of sunshine, which improves Sally's mood. We went for a short visit to a friend's and then visited a local Amish greenhouse. Sally has always done the flowers around our house and I am hoping if I get everything set up by a table she will still be able to do a few things with some of the flowers. She tires easily and does take several naps throughout the day. If she is up to it, she will be going with me to our local high school music concert this evening. Tomorrow will be a take-it-easy day, for sure.
