About 2:30 this afternoon Sally was moved to a regular hospital room from the ER. She is feeling pretty good and we thought there was an outside chance that she would be discharged, but that did not happen. We actually have no idea how long this stay will be, but we think it will be much shorter than some have been. Her hemoglobin number is not good (it has been about 8.8--which is well below the 11.6 minimum). It was 6.9 earlier and the latest test has it at 7.6. I have no information as to why the numbers would be so low. Sally has been able to order meals today (yesterday she had a very, very small breakfast at home, and that was it for the day). It is nice to be in a hospital room with windows that let us see what a nice day it is outside (the hospital room is also warmer than it was in the ER). Sally is not in pain and is able to sleep on and off throughout the day.
