Great news - the procedure (although it was real late in the day) went great! They have no reason to believe that the clot broke off in the removal of his old lines and his new lines went in without complications. For once, my Dad decided he didn't want to be the 1%. For now, he is resting comfortably and excited that he can finally eat! 

This weekend the world will be celebrating Father's Day but we celebrate him every day! I mean how many father's can say they have completed two Boston Marathons in the same year! The other good news is that the computer system at Dad's hospital is finally back up and working well so that has been good for Dad too! Their system is back up but Dad is too much of a numbers guy for his charting to stop. He does have graphs and KPI scores if the hospital administration would like to review! 

We are thankful for a good day and even got to share a few good laughs as we reminisced over our childhood!
