A Thank You Note

 

No words I type could ever appropriately portray the gratefulness we have in our hearts for the outpouring of love we have received for our Mighty Casey. I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude by the number of neighbors and friends, community members, coworkers, prayer groups and churches who have heard of Casey’s story and prayed for his recovery. I will never be able to thank you enough for this precious gift. God listened and God answered. We have witnessed so much power in prayer. We continue to pray that God has healed Casey forever. We pray he may reach many lives with his testimony of God’s goodness. 

 

We thank you for all the letters, emails, messages, encouraging words, meals, care packages, donations and love. We are forever grateful. These have truly helped us and continue to help us through this journey. 

 

I do not ask God why. Even if explained to me, there is no way I could ever comprehend his plan. God has had this planned from the beginning for a greater good and purpose. Looking back, I see the master design and have witnessed miracles. There were many moving pieces. More than we could ever grasp. This is why God is God and I am not. 

 

Casey is doing wonderful. He enjoys being home with his wilder, younger brother and attempts to keep him out of trouble. We are focused on keeping his weight up so he can finally have his g-tube removed. I know Casey looks forward to that day. His hearing is being monitored as well as all blood work. Casey is looking forward to trips, church activities, starting kindergarten, sports, and making memories at home. We are enjoying time together as a family. 

 

We appreciate the continued prayers as Casey has maintenance scans every 3 months. We pray that God has healed him fully and Casey’s story will be used for God’s glory.
