It’s been a minute since I have updated everyone on Leslie…he is doing well and enjoying his four weeks off from chemotherapy and radiation. Kind of a lot has happened…Coach announced his retirement last week after 42 years of coaching and 36 years as the head coach of Randall High School! He has had a stellar career leading by example, teaching young men how to excel at basketball and at life! I am so proud of him and his heart for kids! He has touched so many lives and we are so grateful to God for the path that He put Leslie on so many years ago. What a ride it’s been! I am actually retiring as well, and so very thankful to our loving, providing Father that I am able to do this after 30 years of teaching and coaching and that I will be able to continue to take care of Leslie all the time. We are excited for the time together, with our kids, grandkids, and family!
Please be praying for us as we head back to Houston next week to see Leslie’s Neuro oncologist at MD Anderson, and he has an MRI to see how the tumor has been affected by treatments. We are believing in the Healing power of our Jehovah Rophe and that He will be glorified no matter what our Almighty God chooses to do! God is so good, so able, and so sovereign. We trust Him in His omniscience! We do also ask for prayers of thankfulness for minimal side effects and only minor issues so far for my guy. Thank you all so much, and I will keep you posted!
