He started with getting his weekly Echocardiogram which identified his shunt and stent are working well still. Leo’s weight gain has slowed this past week but the team feels comfortable with where he is at (13lbs 5oz). He then went back for his sedated MRI of his heart and his brain. He went back with the anesthesia team at 2:30pm and Thomas just texted me at 6:30pm that he was done and heading to recovery. His brain MRI was a follow up from his brain bleeds. We meet with the neurology team at the end of the month. His heart MRI was for preparations of his Glenn procedure on June 3rd. Thomas said he will be monitored for 2 hours before they will get to come home. Thomas packed an over night bag just in case.
This was the first appointment I was not able to attend and I sent many messages to Thomas for updates as I anxiously awaited at home with the big brothers.
