Hi Friends,
This week is off to a rough start with low counts and nausea. Chemo from last week has zeroed out his immune system again  with ANC is 20, hemoglobin is 6.6, and platelets at 7k. As a reference,  the low end of the normal range for each metric:  ANC 1,500, hemoglobin 13, and platelets 150,000 which means he is wiped out and doesn't feel great. We're working on getting his nausea under control to prevent dehydration as well as get/keep food and medicines in. Callan's ability to smile and stay positive during this grueling journey truly amazes me. Prayers and positive thoughts are welcome as we navigate these final two weeks of intensive treatment!
