HELP ST. JUDE BY CREATING A PEPPER AT CHILI'S TO FIGHT CHILDHOOD CANCER!!!!

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Chili’s Grill & Bar® announced the kick-off of their fifth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign. Now through September 30, Chili’s restaurants around the country and, for the first time, in Puerto Rico, are marking National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by inviting people to get creative and raise funds to help St. Jude find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
Guests at participating Chili’s restaurants can contribute to St. Jude in multiple ways:

- Make a donation to St. Jude and receive a Create-A-Pepper chili pepper coloring sheet designed for display at restaurants during the month.

- Purchase Create-A-Pepper T-shirts that can be customized with permanent marker.

- Buy a customized Create-A-Pepper key that can be cut for use at home or the office.

- Eat at Chili’s on Monday, Sept. 29, when Chili’s will donate 100 percent of profits from participating restaurant sales to St. Jude.

Visit www.createapepper.com and to make an online donation.

PASS IT AROUND!!!!

GET YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY TOGETHER!!! TRUST ME ITS SUCH AN AMAZING CAUSE :)

Jennifer,
This is Earlene!!! I'm not sure how to get ahold of you anymore. I left you a voicemail on your cell phone, but I don't know if you ever got it or not.

So glad to hear that Georgia continues to do so well! I know that she's getting so big. I'll bet Cole is just a big as she is now.

Please send me an e-mail and let me what's going on.

I'm still at Check Point, so send me an e-mail there.

Georgia, you go girl-running the race to get the cancer out of other kids! It so amazing the things kids say.
Gabrielle is also enjoying kindergarten. Congrads on your clear scans. We too will have scans in June. I'm sure your brother is growing and is not a little baby anymore.

Hope you have a great week:)

To all of Georgia's family, friends and caringbridge families please keep Jennifer, Georgia's Mom in you prayers. She found out on the 6th of July, after having some moles removed that she has melanoma. She will have all the usual screening etc. that goes along with cancer.

I ask that you pray that all the exams and test will show no other sites of cancer and that she will remain cancer free and that God will be with her, Aaron, Georgia and Cole.

I do not know why our family has so many members that have/had cancer. All I do know is that God has a plan and whatever that plan is we will honor Him and pray to Him that He will touch Jennifer with his healing hand as He continues to do for Georgia and myself. Georgia and I both had clear scans and are cancer free!

I thank God each day for the Blessings He gives us and I know without His love and caring I could not handle all of this.

To my loving daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren, I love you very much, and once again, with God's blessing, we will make it through this together.

LOVE YA MORE!!

Princess Georgia,

What a joy you are to me! It was so sweet for you to bring me a "gift" Sat. when I kept you and Cole so Mommie and Daddy to go out for Daddy's birthday. Your gifts were so thoughtful! Mommie said it was your idea and you chose the gifts yourself---a pack of Mac and Cheese, one of Daddy's birthday cards, your door knob sign that says "Princess in the Making", which you promptly placed on my bedroom door knob, and a purple plastic necklace. How lucky am I for you to give me your "treasures" and most of all for the love you give me each and every day!!!

You were a bright star and we enjoyed each and every minute we got to spend with you and baby brother. The experience and the special people we meant will always hold a place in our heart. We will add more people to our prayer list and we once again realize how lucky and blessed that we are that you are such a fighter and have been blessed with being in remission. We meet Emma who struggles each day and Bradley who is still going through chemo, who we will remember with fond thoughts and special prayers. Thank you and we love you.

Hey Little Princess,

This has been a rough few days!! But, as always, you are a trooper and I know you will make it through this. The rest of us might not, especially Mom and Dad.

It was really special for me to get to take you to Libby Lou's the day before your surgery, even tho you pouted when I wouldn't let them do you hair in a punk rocker--you look so much better as a princess. You did however, show off your hair, makeup and gifts at Mommie's work. So I think your pouting was fake!! Gotcha!!!!

Thank you for your kind words on Miranda's site. I take my frustration out with the journaling... does it show? LMAO I also don't care too much how I come off alot of times. I always tell what I feel, good, bad or comical. And if some one picks on me for being too emotional... I just go to my corner , have (yet another) good cry, stalk them down, and beat the crap out of them. This TOO makes me fell better. So if you can consider any of this advise... so be it. Oh, also get the best digital equipment you can afford. I have over 4000 pic.'s of Miranda... it isn't enough!!!

We will pray for a helping hand for Gabby. I, as many others, understand the anxiety. Will check back on ya'll in a day or two.

The places we were treated the absolute best are Universal Studios (we actually went there for 2 days) and Sea World! Just so you know, Georgia can have her face painted at Sea World and Universal for free and she can go on the trampoline ride at Sea World for free but she still has to wait in line) Those are 2 things we didn't know about. Hi Georgia, Jennifer, Cole and Aaron..... checking in on you to see how you are doing. So sorry that you all had the "Bug" and Mommy being so tired. I hope you are all over it by now. It sure isn't fun to be sick and you can't go outside to play. That was really cute Georgia to teach your little brother Cole how to say "sister", that is very important that he knows. Our prayers are with you all, for Georgia to continue to do well, that everything goes the way you want with your job Jennifer and that Cole's throwing up is nothing to be concerned about. Sending lots of love and prayers

Hello Georgia and family,

Just stopping in to say hello! Wow, all that swimming sounds great! Its still a little cool up here in Wisconsin, we are having a pool placed this summer but I fear it won't be ready til 4th of July! We will be praying for sonograms for sweet baby Cole and Georgia's upcoming follow ups and CXR June 1st. Katey's check up is the same day so it will be easy to remember. Jenn, I hear you when you say you'd feel better with full body scans...I guess that goes along with being a parent of a child with cancer. You are right, we can only trust that God is watching over us--and He WILL help see us through. We pray all the time for Georgia and your family to stay strong and healthy and in remission forever. We will say a prayer for Rodney and Ivan's family for their losses, its never easy to loose someone you love...there will be Peace in Eternity when they meet again...Sending you all LotsaHugs from WI~

Take Care

Here is a Mother's Day poem for your mommy Georgia~

WONDERFUL MOTHER

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.

My daughter had stage 2 Wilm's tumor and this week she had a milestone : five years gone since the last chemo and therefore the last check-up. She is doing fine and the only signs of WT are scar in her belly and missing left kidney. She is currently 9 years old and an ethusiastic fan of Britney Spears. But above all, partly due to WT she has become a kind, strong and caring person. All the best to You in the future !

Hello, Just checking in. It's been a while and I am glad to see your doing well. Ya know, I just realized that you and my son Kyle both had your "first" chemotherapy treatment on March 11, 2003. I find it amazing how as parents of children with cancer....we never forget a date. May the dates we remember to come be of things like first trophy, first date, first car, first job, etc. etc. Those are the dates that I am looking forward to. Kyle also is ALL DONE WITH TREATMENT!!! Clear end of treatment scans...next ones in January. Things are good. Take care and happy holidays. www.caringbridge.org/mi/kyleheath

You were the prefect Princess at the eye Doctor! Three and a half hours!! And only to be told that he couldn't tell if you had glaucoma or not.
The next day tho Mommie told me the GOOD NEWS, that the specialist didn't have to put you to sleep after all and that you DO NOT have glaucoma!!!
We have had a few scares lately and thank our LORD and Heaven above that all was clear and that your migraines are being treated with medication.

Whew, what a schedule you and Georgia have going the next couple of weeks! Every time I come across a new site my heart just breaks at what you are all facing but I am also so impressed with the strength these children exhibit as they endure treatments, tests, and seemingly endless doctor visits. I am guessing you as parents must draw from their strength to get through some of these experiences! I admire ALL of you and am praying for Georgia each day. Take care, and know that your story is touching people across the country. People who care and are deeply moved by your journal entries. Hang in there, and God bless you!!

Jennifer, I have this weird feeling inside of me and I feel I need to express it or else I will forever be reminded of it. I want so badly all of the friends that Kamryn and I have made to be healthy and have no more problems. As I was reading your entry onto Kamryn's guest book I became guilt ridden. I feel so horrible that your Georgie Porgie can not have the same update as Kamryn! I just wanted to apologize and say that I am praying strongly for Georgia so that her next update after all of these tests are done it will show that she is just as healthy as she can be.

To my baby girl, her rock and our little princess,

Even tho I see you almost on a daily basis now, I still can not imagine what the three of you are going through. I know it's tough on us grandparents, but 1000 times harder on you.

I can't tell you how proud I am of you, your faith, strength and love for one another is shown in everything you do for your baby and each other.

You show your love and understanding for everyone around you, no matter how bad a day all of you have had, or night.

You hold your head up high and never really complain about what you are having to go through. Yes, you have made me very, very proud.

I love all of you and I will continue to pray that God will watch over all three of you and the new one on the way.

Happy 2nd anniversary (early) my God grant you a long and loving life together! Loving because, if it is loving the happeniness will be there too!!

Yay! I share in your excitement! Kamryn is in remission too!!!! I am finding that we have quite a bit in common other then that our daughters HAD!!!! the same type of cancer...I lost my dad to cancer almost 7 years ago and then now to have to deal with it with my own daughter was devastating at the least. I wrote a similar entry for my husband in Kamryn's guest book and he cried when he read it. I think that the dad's tend to seem to be in the rear of all of the action, when really they are leading all of us crazy mom's through all the rubble. They are the ones who help us pick up and move on! Good luck in the future. I am so happy for you and of course for Georgia!!!!

For Aaron, my Best friend and Hubbie,
Most of you don't get to see the side of Aaron that I see, so I want to thank him and tell what a wonderful person he is. I wish you all could see the way he looks at Georgia with love and devotion. He has been the rock in my life that I have always needed and I couldn't have gotten through this without him. When Georgia was first diagnosed and many times since then we talked about how we wouldn't want to go through this with anyone else; how this could only make us that much stronger as a family. Even though there were times when I thought we were drowning, he took my hand and led me out of the water. When I questioned my faith he reminded me that I had made him keep his. Through all of the late nights, vomiting, fever, ache ness, hair loss, everything...he kept us strong. And for that I wanted everyone to know how much I thank him. I love you and I am so proud to be your wife.

Love, Jenni

WOW!!!! Great news. We have a lot of people to thank for their prayers and support during this time. We are so happy for you, Mom and Dad. I know that one day we will all look back at these days and wonder how we ever made it through. You will be blessed with the fact that you were so young and you will only have the memories that we share with you. We love you more each day and will continue to pray for all of you. Princess Georgia hopefully your bad days will lessen and all your days will be good days! Through-out all of this you have shown such courage! Words can never say how proud I am of you and how much joy you have brought into my life.

Auntie, Jherith, Spencer and I have enjoyed the days you have spent with us the last two weeks.I am so glad to see you being a mischievous two year old! Even tho Auntie and I had to clean the dining room and kitchen several times a day on three different days.

First day: The boys and Georgia went into my pie cabinet and took out a large box of Quacker Oats, dumped it all out, then started throwing it up in the air, seems like they thought it made pretty good snow. Mommie, Auntie and I took pictures and laughed alot, then cleaned up the mess.

Second day Georgia, probably with the boys encouragement, took out a large jar of coffee creamer and sprinkled on the floor and "ice skated", I really think they are ready for winter! Auntie took pictures called Mommie and me and we again laughed! To add to the cleanup problem, the boys tried to clean it up by wetting it, would have been easy to sweep up, wet thought took several moppings and Auntie and Mammaw down on the floor brush scrubbing the grooves between the tile (we weren't laughing then--just a labor of love!!)

Third and final day (I hope) out comes a large can of coffee, most was saved by the dining room table---haven't figured out what they thought they could use the coffee for. This time Auntie didn't take pics, figured the kids thought it was funny to do these things, since we always took pictures and laughed! Kids ended up with some time out, and that was two days ago, so we figured they have learned their lesson. Or it may be that they have exhausted their resoures.

Mammaw has learned a lesson also, it isn't always the best to buy thing in LARGE quanties!

I love all of you very much! You babies, Annie, Jennifer and Aaron are my life! We have had some rough times, it seems never ending, but I know that we will all get through this and I am hoping we just remember the good times we have together.

Remember, also, that Daddy is watching after his girls, Aaron and his grandbabies! I'm sure he laughed harder than we did at the kids pranks!

Georgia may God continue to heal you. I am praying that next Tues. the DR's will tell us that you are in remission and God willing stay that way!

Love Ya More! Mammaw

Hello Aaron and Jennifer,

I found your website through the Wilms Tumor Homepages. Your daughter Georgia is as precious as her name! I'm sad to say that what we have in common is a child with Wilms. Our daughter Kate (6yo) was diagnosed with Wilms Stage II, FH also. That was on Jan 25, 2003, with surgery the next day. Its been quite the journey, but with Faith and the support of family and friends we have weathered through it all. Thankfully, Kate will receive her last chemo treatment Tuesday June 17th :> We will pray for Georgia and your family that treatments would go well and that she would be cancer free.

When Laura told me about you that's when I felt lead to pray for you and to get a prayer wheel going, to call on others so they too could pray. You have so many people praying for you and for your mommy and daddy as I know they can't stand to see their little angel hurt. Jesus loves you and has watched over you and has given you parents to take care of you here on earth. We may not understand why, but you are a very blessed little girl to have so many people that love you, even people who don't know you. You are now a part of our life. I was just thinking about you and said a prayer for you just a little before Laura told me about your pictures on your web page. When mommy sings you the song "Jesus Loves Me" have her sing it as "Jesus Love You this we know" that is how I sing it to my 2 yr old as she is also my gift from God just as you are to your mommy, daddy and grandparents! You are a special angel.

Dear Jennifer and Aaron,
We have been following Georgia's condition from the first day, and we have been praying for her daily. I will add her name to another prayer list at church Sunday. She is a precious little girl, and I know she is going to be fine. I know how awful it is to see the child you love in pain and suffering, but hopefully she won't remember all of this as she grows older since this happened when she is so young. She will need both of you in the days to come. I know your family has closed their arms around you and are giving you their much needed support. I hope you got the card we sent. Please keep us updated on her condition. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Gary

I thank the Lord that both Georgia and my son Nick are going to do great. They just have to go through a hard time right now.

From the very beginning, God has said to His people, "I am the Lord that healeth thee" (Exodus 15:26). This fact alone has help build my faith. It lets me know that God is a good God Who wants us well and whole. The God Who changes not (Malachi 3:6) is still the "Lord that healeth" us today!

Aaron and Jennifer - I thank God for your FAITHFULNESS during this time. God has great things for you all - especially Georgia! You all are remembered in my prayers.
