Welcome to Autumn's Web page! This page was created to keep everyone updated on Autumn's progress.
Autumn is 6 years old. She was born November 25, 2001. She was diagnosed in October 15, 2003, at age 23 months with Wilm's tumor Stage 3 favorable histology on her left kidney. The tumor was so large that they were unable to do surgery right away to remove it. She started chemotherapy and eventually had radiation to try to shrink the tumor. Although this did not work, she had surgery in February of 2004 and the tumor was successfully removed along with the left kidney. She had no other signs of cancer present. She finished her chemotherapy in April of 2004. She had clear scans and had her port-a-cath removed in May of 2004. She is now on a follow-up with ultrasounds and x-rays every 6-12 months. Clear scans in May 2008!

Thursday, June 17, 2010 4:33 PM CDT Wow-it's been awhile since I came on here-was kind of tricky figuring out how to even access it!
Well, the important thing is Autumn is yet again declared still in remission! She had her yearly appointments this past Tuesday and is healthy as could be! She has an ECHO next week as routine testing and then back again in a year.
She is now 8 and going into 3rd grade next fall. She absolutely loves school and was really sad to see it end! She has been trying volleyball, soccer, and taking each and every art class offered she can. She loves her art and is really creative! We had a great year and so very proud of her!
Her brother Calvin managed to get through Kindergarden without much trouble-he loves playing video games and computer. He is not so much into the crafts or arts, but is doing kickball this summer and enjoying it.
Marissa is 2 1/2 and she is little miss independent. Speaks her mind and has figured out how to get anything she wants from her siblings.. SCREAM...ha ha...
I don't know if I will update this site much anymore-I'm on Facebook if you want to find me!
Have a great summer and year! Keep our little warriors in your prayers and the families who are now without their kids as well!
