A young friend of ours was recently diagnosed with cancer. I would like to ask the caringbridge community to please visit her site and give her and her family the much needed support. They are just devastated.

Hi Holly and Hannah,
Hope your school year's are off to a good start. I still havee the same class cause I looped up to 4th Grade with them. I love it. I haven't forgotten about you. The summer was crazy with my son having surgery and recovering. All is well now and he's actually going onto the NYC Police Academy in Jan. Then I can worry about different things. I still have a pile of pictures that I will send out to you soon. Hope all is well and hope to talk to you soon.

A giraffe looks in my window
At the same time everyday,
He just appears with silly ears,
When I turn on the light to play.

I tell him the things I do at two
While he munches and crunches the leaves,
That are so very tasty too,
From the tippy tops of the trees.

One night he didn’t look so good,
His eyes were filled with pain.
I asked him, "What is the problem, the food?"
He said, "I must explain!"

"My knees are hurting pretty bad
And my long neck is so sore.
I really do like our talks,
But I can't take much more!
If you do a favor for me,
I know how my pain will be free.

CAN YOU MOVE UP TO THE SECOND FLOOR!!!

Holly, I was just reading your recent journal update. I know how tough things must be for you but it sounds like you are doing a terrific job. Mark would be proud of you. I heard you on the radio during the campaign. How wonderful that you made a donation of a full wish. We love when the families think enough of us to give back a little once their child has had the opportunity to experience the magic of a wish. The kids are growing up too fast. I also see your name periodically in Carter's guestbook. Thanks for continuing to pray for him and his family. They are certainly going through a tough time and they have some tough decisions to make. I worked on Carter's wish and it breaks my heart. I hate Neuroblastoma with a passion and I pray daily for him that he isn't experiencing too much pain. Continued prayers for you and your family for healing from the pain of your loss but to remember all the good memories of the years you had.

This is the first half of Psalm 86. I know it's a bit long, but it's really special and I pray that it will give you comfort.
Ps 86:1-7: Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

I remember when Karl was first diagnosed thinking that if one more person told me how strong and amazing I was that I would scream. We are not strong, we do what we do because we have to. Fall apart if you have to. Your kids will take thier cues from you and watching you deal with your grief will help them understand how to deal with thier own. There is no cure for a broken heart but time does ease the pain. You and the kids will be in my prayers.

I am speechless. I have been reading your journals for a while but have never signed the book. My daughter has been in Delayed Intensification, so my pc time has been slim lately.

My heart reaches out to you across the miles. I cannot imagine the feelings and grief.

I am so very sorry.

I will be back soon. I will sign more often to let you know I am listening.

My prayers are with you and your beautiful family.

Holly, we have too much in common. I lost my husband and my child has MDS also. However, there are differences. My husband was 23 and died 8 years ago. I have since remarried. My child is a 4 year old boy. He had BMT 2/28/06. You ask when it will stop hurting and when you will forget Mark. This will never just go away, but the pain and rawness of it does. The image of him in the ER will fade and the image of him smiling at you will become stronger. Don't worry, you couldn't forget Mark if you tried, he is tied to your heart forever. As for Hannah, you can keep picture of Mark out, talk to her about him, watch his favorite movie together, just talk about him in everyday conversations. Losing your father is different than losing your grandparents. You have lost the man, his body, the chance for him to do new things with you, but you will always have his love and the memories and those can be amazing things.

I was so sad to read of your recent loss of your husband/daddy. I read through your entry today and I thought what an amazing thing to donate his organs as he will live on in others while giving them more time with their families. I cannot imagine how you feel but please know I am praying for whatever you may need. I don't believe in really writing cliches here because I don't think I can say anything that is individual enough for your time of grief or how a person should or shouldn't handle it. I just want you to know that I pray for you as each day, each month and each year passes.

Hip hop, hippety hop
My “Easter Bunny” went off to the shop,
He bought me an egg and lots of chocs
And packed them into a cardboard box.
Then he wrapped it with paper and shiny string
It really was such a pretty thing.
Disaster struck when I opened the door-
He slid across the parquet floor,
He went round the corner and past the stairs
And finished up in a pile of chairs.
Of the Easter goodies not a trace,
he’d thrown them into my fireplace!
So a warning before you go opening doors
Make sure your “Bunny” has non-slip paws!

Happy Easter

With lots of love,

Everyone at Post Pals

HEY!! Oh, I'm sorry we missed you. I would not of thought it was weird. I would of shrieked and jumped up and down. LOL!! I enjoy meeting fellow Childrens patients. Wednesday was a crazy day. Maybe we can meet up another time. Oh I see Hannah enjoys the popstop too. The peanut butter cookies are my choice. YUM!!! Harlei likes the popcorn and Lexus likes anything that requires me spending more money. HAHA!! One time Lexus went to an appt. w/ us she wanted one of those cookies that comes w/ markers and you color it. So I gave in and paid the $5.00 for it b/c my motherly guilt was taking over that Lexus also suffers w/ Harlei being ill and sometimes I have to be away from her in the hospital and well you get the point! She opened it in the car on the way home colored it, took one bite and said "ooohhhh it's gross!" And threw it away. Then the next time she went w/ us she wanted another one!!!!! I told her get a popcorn. LOL!! We sooo want to take a vacation but our bank account laughed at us! :)I'm trying to save $$ for when we go for our check up at Johns Hopkins b/c we stay the week for Gold Ribbons Day in D.C but it hard when I have a shoeaholic. HAHA!! Thanks for stopping over and signing our page. And thanks TONS for the prayers. I'm sure you understand how prayers are greatly appreciated. Enjoy your weekend! Maybe next time our girls will take over popstop!! We can have lunch at those benches. Hugs, thoughts, and prayers, Angelique and Harlei

Happy B-Lated Thanksgiving!!! We are just a little behind these days. Larry had his surgery on his ankle and is a little out of commission on the home front.

I wish the best for your Family for this Holiday Season!

Here are a couple of Holiday Riddles from Sierra!

Which of Santa's reindeer has bad manners?
"Rude"-olph!

Why is Prancer always wet?
Because he's a "rain"-deer!

Lots of CB ((((Hugs)))) and ++++Prayers++++ to you and your family every moment of the day!

Hello Caring Bridge Friends,

I know it has been awhile since I have signed pages, I have been very consumed with work and some classes I am taking. Not to mention the never ending Family Loving Chaos. However, this includes is my cry for help! I just learned that a dear friend's son who has ALL has relapsed! He has been in remission and receiving treatment for 2 years and 4 months to the day, when they got the news. As a Cancer Parent this is the worse thing to hear. Every day we try to go along with our daily activities. We believe with all our hearts and Faith that our babies are 1 day closer to hearing the blessed words that they are considered "cured".

This was just a devastating reminder that each day is equally as possible that it could go the other direction! I can't describe the fear I am feeling now for their family as well as our own!

Susie Breuer the mother of *Bryce*, is a remarkable woman and they have a remarkable family! She is the mother of five great boys and an equally wonderful husband. They live just north of Rochester, MN. Bryce is 7 years old now and was diagnosed just before his 5th Birthday.

When we were still new to the Medical World of ALL and I had been asking a lot of questions about our boys and how we can try to keep their lives somewhat normal. With Susie's permission, one of the nurses introduced us when we happened to be there for appointments at the same time. She was great, we spent many hours on the phone comparing notes and supporting each other. On Sierra’s 6 month anniversary of her diagnosis we had a blood and marrow registry drive in Sierra's honor. The Breuers drove all the way from Goodhue to donate and get registered.

We had connected many times when Sierra and Bryce were on the same appointment schedules. And there were a few times when Sierra wasn't doing so well with her appointments and out of no where Susie would arrive armed with cheetos and get Sierra smiling again!! They have had us to their farm to play and as you can imagine the kids had a ball! My heart aches for their family and once again the overwhelming helplessness is taking over! So I did the first thing I could think of and that was to pray!!! And also ask everyone I knew to pray as well.

I know we all have our own things going on but they could use all the well wishes and prayers they can get right now.

Also some of you may know *Chance* He is a very strong young man who had Cancer when he was 3 but overcame it. He now suffers from numerous seizures. Despite his own battles he spends hours going to children’s sites and encouraging them. Not long ago his mother found out she had cancer, and yesterday I found out she earned her Angel Wings. I think it is our time to return some of that strength he as passed on to so many.

This morning when the Lord opened a window to Heaven, he saw me, and he asked:
"My child, what is your greatest wish for today?" I responded:
"Lord, please take care of the person who is reading this message, their family and their special friends. They deserve it, and I love them very much".

The love of God is like the ocean: you can see its beginning, but not its end. And you never want to turn your back on it!

Lots of CB ((((Hugs)))) and ++++Prayers++++ to you and your family!

Just stopping by to let you know you are in my heart and prayers May God draw near and fill your heart with strength and grace, but most of all, hope.

There is constant joy abiding
In Christ my Lord and King;
Of His love that passeth knowledge
My heart and tongue shall sing.

He is all in all to me,
And my song of songs shall be,
Hallelujah, O my Savior,
I am trusting only Thee.

When my path is veiled in shadows,
And clouds above me roll,
I can smile amid the tempest,
His glory fills my soul.

I can see his bow of promise
Through tears and trials deep;
I can hear His voice like music,
That lulls my care to sleep.

I shall yet behold the praise Him,
And dwell in perfect peace
In the golden land of beauty,
Where cloud and wave shall cease.

Sending a ton of prayers your way.
Love and hugs

Sounds like the Disney fever is striking your house!
And who said one could never have enough Princess Parafanalia? I hope your trip is awesome!

RVing is also something I would like to do, but talking Jimmie into it is another thing all together.

The last few days here in below zero temps has made me want to consider a warmer climate!

The kids have been busy with sports, and Wyatt has been busy socializing with everyone at the games and also trying to not get what is making the rounds through the household and school.

I know that it has been a while since I have signed your guestbook. But I want you to know that I breeze through and check in on you, just don't always have time to leave you a message.

Wyatt's Caringbridge page is experiencing technical difficulties, and I am hoping that Caringbridge will get to us on Monday to sort it out. I tried to update the page and what I got was no writing of any kind.

I have also started a MSN group, Wyatt's Friends, the group is open to you and your family. So if you are not already a member, please feel free to apply for membership, and come find new friends, support, and join us in the fight against cancer.

I hope that the year of 2005 brings us all better health, much love and closer to a cure.

Hugs!~

Kris

Holly and Hannah,
Thanks for coming by Bethany's new website. She was SO excited when she read her guestbook today. She never dreamed of having messages yet. We love our little doxies. We had another one, our first one, Dibbles, who was red with dapple, but he died when he was 6. We love them so much. Looks like you will be going to Disney pretty soon. Hope you have a good time. We'll keep a check on you and keep you in our prayers,

A PRAYER FOR CHRISTMAS

God Give Us eyes this Christmas
To see the Christmas Star.
And give us ears to hear the song
of angels from afar

And, with our eyes and ears attuned
for a message from above,
Let "Christmas Angels" speak to us
of hope and faith and love

Hope to light our pathway
When the way ahead is dark,
Hope to sing through stormy days,
with the sweetness of the lark

Faith to trust in things unseen
and know beyond all seeing
That it is in our Fathers love
We live and have our being

And love to break down barriers
of color, race and creed,
Love to see and understand
and help all those in need.

Lord, bless those we love this Christmas Day,be they near or far away Bless those good friends who mean so much and those with whom we're out of touch. We bring them all to You in prayer, and ask You to keep them in Your care.

Please know that you are thought of, in a very special way, not just this beautiful season but every day.

Hi Hannah and Family: I came across your site from another caring bridge site and was surprised to see you have MDS. My 7 year old niece also has this disease (www.caringbridge/canada/jessica97). She was first diagnosed when she was 4, had treatment, was in remission for two and a half years and has relapsed. She is receiving treatment again and will likely need a transplant. I want to wish you luck in your treatments and I'll include you in my thoughts and prayers. Take Care Little Hannah, Janice

Dear Holly,

I just found your site from the Banna's site. I am so sorry you got hit with a nasty message.

I do understand the emotions you are dealing with but on a much more mundane level. My husband is Air Force and had a command job which I took a very active role in. I was "Mom" to over 450 people. It was time to give up command, move and take on a staff job. We went from being in charge of everything to being in charge of nothing. I'm currently keeping busy with unpacking boxes but I'm no longer the go-to person for our squadron folks. I no longer have this schedule I can put on a calendar a year in advance. This is a complete change from what I've known for 2 years and suddenly I have to figure out what my new role is.

You too will figure out your new role and schedeule. I think the fact that you and your daughter are educating others is wonderful.

Enjoy this healthy time, you deserve it!

This is my first time writing in your guestbook. I had bookmarked this page several weeks ago but it somehow got buried in my list of bookmarks so I will move you all up to my CaringBridge list of kiddos I'm praying for. And don't let some rude person get you down. I didn't see the entry but it sounds like it was extremely upsetting. Anyway, you are all in my prayers. I'm so sorry someone has burdened you with their reaction to whatever you said. This is YOUR site, for cryin out loud! You do/say/write whatever you feel!!

Please continue to share how you are feeling.
Btw, in visiting many sites like these, there seems to be a lot of trolling going on. I don't know if it's the same idiot, or just something in the air. But do your best to ignore it and rememeber there are more good people out there who genuinely care!

Holly, don't let one person's guestbook entry get you down. They are but one. Concentrate on the many that support you. Remember, ignorance comes in many shapes and sizes. Keep your chin up and concentrate on the road ahead. Oh and please continue to journal from your heart. That, to me, is what is important. One day, Hannah will read this journal and I'm sure she will want the honest one, not the edited version.

I can't believe people can be so rude and nasty. Don't think about people like that. Let them drop by the waistside and out of our way.

Now, I am so happy that things are getting back to your old schedule. I hope your cough is getting better. I so know how the house suffers. We also got our decorations out this weekend. Last year I was in the hospital for Thanksgiving and Christmas due to problems with my pregnancy, but this year WATCH OUT!!!! We are decorating like crazy. Baked two batches of choc. chip cookies already and yup!!! ate a lot of them. Hey Holly,

Grrrr...someone is upset that YOUR feelings and YOUR family's story isn't properly and adequately fulfilling ONE PERSON'S emotional needs!! Imagine, you have the NERVE to have a down moment just because your daughter has cancer.

Holly, thousands of people have been here, showering you with love and support for you and that cute little Banana of yours...don't lose any more sleep over the one that doesn't get it! And most of all, don't censor out your thoughts for someone else's sake. You do whatever you need to do to walk this walk, and if you need to apologize for anything, do it when Hanna's 10 and you all long since forgot about steroids, vincristine and back pokes!

Just had to leave a note here to make STUPID people think before leaving a negative entry here! DON'T DO IT! Think about how YOU would feel if the situation were reversed.

Don't let anyone get you down and if anyone else leaves an inappropriate entry, just delete it. Don't even acknowledge it. You have better things to worry about than ignorant people.

:)

I agree with you 100%

Our Jenni had a Wilm's tumor, the chemo is over and a whole new cycle has started. Yes we are happy, but every now and then we have our "downs" - but personally, I think we're "entitled" to that!

Here's to many, many uneventful days with our children!!
http://www3.caringbridge.org/va/jennihallupdate/

I found this poem shortly after Jenni had been diagnosed...

The Chosen Mothers

By Erma Bombeck

Most women become a mother by accident, some by choice and a few by habit. Did you ever wonder how mothers of children with life threatening illnessess are chosen?

Somehow, I visualize God hovering over earth selecting His instruments for progagation with great care and deliberation. As He observes, He instructs His angels to make notes in a gaint ledger.........

"Armstrong, Beth, son, patron saint Matthew" "Forrest, Marjorie, daughter, patron saint Cecilia" "Rutledge, Carrie, twins, patron saint Gerard."

Finally, He passes a name to an angel and says "Give her a child with cancer." The angel is curious. "Why this one God? She's so happy."

"Exactly," smiles God, "Could I give a child with cancer a mother who does not know laughter? That would be cruel."

"But, does she have patience?" asks the angel.

"I don't want her to have too much patience or she will drown in a sea of self-pity and despair. Once the shock and resentment wear off, she will handle it."

"I watched her today," said God. "She has that feeling of self-independence that is so rare and necessary in a mother. You see, the child I'm going to give her has it's own world. She has to make it live in her world and that's not going to be easy."

"But Lord, I don't think she believes in you," said the angel. "No matter, I can fix that. This one is perfect. She has just enough selfishness."

The angel gasps, "Selfishness! Is that a virtue?"

God nods. "If she can't separate herself from the child occasionally, she'll never survive. Yes here is the woman I will bless with a child less than perfect. She doesn't realize it yet, but she is to be envied. She will never take anything her child does for granted. She will never condsider a single step ordinary. I will permit her to see clearly the things I see...ignorance, cruelty, prejudice...and allow her to rise above them."

"And what about her patron saint?" askes the angel, his pen poised in mid air.

God smiles and says..."A mirror will suffice."

Well I was very upset over that nasty message left for you to read as well as many others. I feel you should have left her name and email up and she should get all the nasty emails that she has coming for her rude comments! just for those who wish I saved it and will be sending along my own view point about leaving such a nasty thing for a family to read when she obviously has no clue what a family goes through when a child is diagnosed with cancer. Holly and family, Please do not let this one person leave you upset, it is not worth it and your families here at caringbridge will rally around you always! GOD bless you this Holiday season, A sincere friend keeping watch for you ;)

those interested her name is Sally and her email addy is pittsburghlady@comcast.net
Holly if you choose to delete this I will understand completely just let us have a shot at emailing her first!

if I told you I might get nasty emails from Sally..... ;) <a person that cares @ happythoughts.net>

Well I must tell you that you are the second family in the last week that has had a problem with a nasty message sender.
Did this one have the courtesy to leave a name or email, because the other one was to cowardly to sign their name and email. Amy left the message there for everyone to see and respond, because she felt that the coward would be back, not necessarily to leave a message, but to see what kind of response he or she would get. In true Caringbridge fashion everyone rallied around here and supported her.

On to happier subjects...So glad that the kids are having fun with the Christmas stuff and your house id finding the spirit.
Have a good week!

Hi Hannah,
I love your Dora t-shirt, you look real cute in it. Imagine cutting your own hair, at least now you know to ask mammy when you want to have it done. We don't really know much about Sponge Bob here, although I see from a few of the cb sites that he's popular over there. Kayla loves Barney, the Fimbles, and the Tweenies.

I am glad to hear that all is better. I have been checking in on your page probably 10 times a day waiting for an update. whew! I know what you mean by waking up hearing vomiting. I think our ears are a little bit more intune with that than others. I know Alex threw up alot. I htink I could hear it start in his stomach and wake up. Where's the pink bucket?!?!I just recently threw mine out when we moved. We carried it everywhere with us at times. Thank God Hanna is ok. My mind was racing as I am sure yours was also. Q: What do you get if you cross a skunk with a bear?
A: Winnie the Pooh!

Q: Why do bears have fur coats?
A: Because they'd look stupid in anoraks!

Hello! I was just surfing around the caringbridge sites, and ended up at the Tumbleweed Foundation site and now I am here!! I have a very dear friend that has a daughter at St. Jude, and actually, just recently returned from CHP. She was receiving an experimental cancer treatment there. So far so good!!! www.caringbridge.org/ar/emmagrace
I also wanted to let you know, I just made a donation for your Light the Night fundraiser. It wasn't much, but it was all I can do right now, hope it helps :)) I will add Hanna to my list of prayers for her to remain free from the beast!!!

Cancer and Disease is so limited…
It cannot cripple Love
It cannot shatter Hope
It cannot corrode Faith
It cannot destroy Peace
It cannot kill Friendship
It cannot suppress Memories
It cannot silence Courage
It cannot invade the Soul
It cannot steal eternal Life
It cannot conquer the Spirit.

May you find strength and comfort in the dawning of each day,
and may God grant you the many blessings of His healing and hope.

This beautiful poem was sent to me this week and I just wanted to share it with all my Caring Bridge Friends!!

Hope you have a beautiful sunny filled weekend without worry!!

Hello, i was watching a couple of new records being set at the Olympics today, so thought i would look up some slightly stranger ones instead of some jokes.

Here's a couple;

Most spoons balanced on the face
Tim Johnston (USA) (b. 1 January 1992), was able to balance on his face (one on each ear, two on each cheek, three on his chin, two on his lips, one on his nose and three on his forehead) and balance them for 30 seconds at on May 28, 2004.

British pub landlord Garry Turner clipped 153 ordinary wooden clothes pegs on his face at the WH Smith bookshop in York, Yorkshire, UK, on September 28, 2002

Holly...I removed the clubphoto ad. That was your family Christmas picture that I had in my clubphoto album and when they had troubles last week I think that image and some others got deleted. I don't know why. It looks like you are getting better with HTML yourself! The banner is really cool :D All is well here just busy as can be with work, and little D is going through a separation anxiety phase which makes it hard to get out the door for work every day. He'll get through it tho.

Hanna, you are a beeeautiful little girl. This is my first time visiting, I got your web address off of Carter Fingers site. I met you months ago in the waiting room at the clinic. You probably do not remember me. My name is Gretchen and my son in Alex. We were also in the hospital at the same time in December, Alex was in for a stem cell transplant. He had it on my birthday, which is Dec. 17 and I believe yours is right around there, because I ate some of your yummy birthday cake in the hospital. What a small world. We also watched Hanna on the telethon from Alex's room that night. She is a sweetie! I am glad to hear that she is in remission and I will be praying that she stays that way. My Alex was one of the unfortunate ones and did not beat the monster. He passed away this past June 6. He had Neuroblastoma. Please visit his site at www.caringbridge.org/pa/alexp/ xoxoxoxo

Hello Hannum family! I am sorry I have been out of touch lately but work and home have been crazy! I am so happy to hear that Hannah doesn't have to go back for checkups so often. We too have been planning our vacation tho camping isn't on the list this year. We are still trying to sell our camper and are planning a week long trip to Myrtle Beach! We will be out of town the week of the mall's blood drive so I won't get to see you then either. Oh and I have been practicing my HTML code so I was going to try to tidy up the links a little bit so they aren't so far apart. I hope you don't mind!

Hannah's birthday party went very well and all attending feasted on meatballs and hot and mild sausage, noodles and homemade sauce! veggies, munchies as well as a great taco spead and dried beef dip.yum! Aunt Laurie made the princess cake what a great job and very yummy!the kids pinned the tail on the donkey and pulled on the Dora piniata for some goodies. blew bubbles and had fun in the back yard. the day was beautiful as the weather cooperated. maybe we did find some Florida sunshine? Hannah really liked her giant 7 foot tall blow up cake that read Happy Birthday (with 4 candles on top!). I had tears watching her have fun and being with other kids. just a little side note I forgot to add to the new journal! Thanks for those attending and all the help before during and after from Alicia, Nicole and Laurie! God Bless, Holly

I have read Hannah's story. Because, I have read her story, I plan on donating blood as often as I can. THanks to her story, I can see that many people could use my blood. Even little children like Hannah

Hi Holly,
Glad to hear that Hannah enjoyed the snow. My girls love it too! It's great that her LAST treatment is almost over. I took the girls to the Canlelighters Christmas party yesterday. I was hoping to see you there. I didn't know any of the families but we still had a great time. I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and continued health and happiness in 2004. Take care.

Dearest Holly & the rest of the family....been in our thoughts lately and just wanted to drop you a quick line. Catherine thanks you very much for her graduation gift; it was really sweet of you to remember her. Catherine found something at the YumYum Tree (where she works) that Art will be bringing in to Mark to bring home. Its just a little something that she and I thought you might like. Want to surprise you, though. I just love Hannah's newest photos...my favorite one is of her with the babydoll stroller. She looks taller!!! So glad to hear that things are going well. That is quite a course of treatments that you described in your latest update. What a courageous little girl. How's that big boy Hannum since his trip to California??? That sure was a nice trip for him to take.
Hope the blood drive is tremendously successful on Sunday.
Love to all of you, Jan, Art, Catherine and Mary

Holly and Hannah,I love you both (and of course Mark and Blake too) as you have time to read this and your days are filled with the monotony of a hospital stay, remember to talk to God He is the friend that always loves us, always listens to us and always holds us with arms that hug our heart. I know what you are going through on a small scale, no one can really know unless they have been there. I do know many people are praying for you and if you draw close to God he will open His arms to you. There were times I pushed him away but I tell you from experience, when your family unites together with God miracles do happen... look at your nephew! Please start praying together actively bow your head with your husband and children, nothing is impossible with God. We push God away he never leaves us, if you call on him he is faithful and I know Hannah will get her miracle. I love you all and pray for all of you to get through this difficult time ,remember your in this together, let each other know you love the other, words do mean life to someone when they are spoken in love. I am here for you always, and I love you Holly, I love you Mark and I love you Blake and I love you Hannah (yes wendy too!) Jesus loves you too! love, Aunt A.J.

Hello to the Hannums. Life has been crazy at the Tamilia house as well, but not the kind of crazy in your life at all. We think of you often, and even though we have been busy planning Catherine's graduation party, you are always in our thoughts and prayers. Even my mom was so surprised about the news of Hannah. My mom sends her best. I just loved the newest photo of her on the website. She is such a doll. She smiles no matter what. Great to hear the big brother got a break to go to California. Hope he doesn't come back a surfer-dude!! Ha-Ha. Sure hope he had a great time. That's a great experience for him. Holly...you must have the patience of a saint and I hope you continue to stay as strong a person that you are. Catherine and Mary send their love and good wishes to Hannah and to the rest of you, AND, needless to say, we do too. So, Lots of Love,
Jan, Art, Mary and Catherine and Cookie, too (ARF-ARF).

Hi everyone!
Just found the web site. Prayers go out to Hannah, her Mom, Dad, Brother, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, pets, and anyone else left out. Keep the faith.

Holly - Jonathan and I were in California for two weeks vacation and saw your family! How cool is that! Bob looked good and so did Blake. They were missing Hannah and everyone, but were trying to enjoy themselves. I can't believe that we saw them, even took a few pictures.

We have sent this address to all our friends for their prayer chains and hope is for Hannah to be home for good!

I can't wait to see her back at the train. . . she is welcome any time. (Free rides are waiting for her!)

Thanks to your sister Kim and everyone keeping all of us informed, you know we would like to come visit at the hospital, but understand that this is not possible at the moment due to infections, etc. . .

I'm sure your Mom is watching over you and your family and saying her prayers as well.

If there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to ask. Unfortunately, we are not Hannah's blood type, but have spread the word.

Take care and God Bless, Love, Lori Ford

Hi Holly & Mark,
Just wanted to let you know that I had a few moms from my MOPS group on Friday ask me for the phone number & info so they could donate blood for Hannah, & some who are not O+ wanted to be direct donors also for the kids at Children's Hospital :) A few members from my church also asked for the info as well!! This news made my day as I'm sure it will yours :) We can talk more on the phone, but just know that you continue to be in the thoughts & prayers of SO MANY people. A day does not go by that we're not asked by at least one person if not more, "How are Hannah & her family doing?". She has touched the hearts of more people than you can imagine. You know we are here for you. Our prayers continue to be with you always. Hannah will fight this. Just continue believing in Him. God will see all of you through this. Talk with you soon.
Lots of love,

Dear Holly, Mark, Blake & Hannah...I continue my prayers for you all. I have asked my circle of racing friends to add you to their list as well. The reason I knew about caringbridge is that we have watched over several young ones who have gone through what Hannah is now. Please call if you need anything! I hope you can get pictures up soon. I can't wait to see Hannah!

Hi Hannah, Holly, Mark, & Blakely!

Our love & prayers are with you guys :) By now you know that Hannah is on prayer chains all around the world, & you have LOTS of people praying for you! Keep your faith in the Lord, & lean on Him. He's walking right beside you & carrying you along this road you travel - look for His footprints in the sand. We are here for you with love & support. So glad that Hannah was able to come home for even a short while & can celebrate her birthday at home instead of in the hospital as we thought would be the case. She sounded so bubbly on the phone - what a courageous little sweetie pie! Before you know it, she & Nicholas will be running around & playing together soon once again :) We can't wait! Take care - talk more with you soon.

Lots of love,

Karen, Jeff, & Nicholas
