Congrats on no apt for 2 years!! That must feel pretty good. You are right she is a bright beautiful young lady. So glad to hear she has "plans" for her future. Please share a hug with her for us. We have lived a miracle, celebrate each day!

I am sorry to hear of the latest developments. It just doesn't seem fair. I am truly excited that cancer is still at bay though. We think of you all often. We have a printing store in Fargo now and would love to have coffee sometime if you are ever in the area. We moved to Moorhead to be closer to the store so we are always around. :)

My son was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in September 2008 and in Dec. of 2008 he had his 11th rib removed,a spinal fusion on 3 vertebrae, and part of his plurel lining removed. He is currently receiving chemo until June. Your story is amazing and an encouragement. Ewing's is so uncommon that we have a hard time finding someone with the same thing.

Hello my name is Paula and my daughter Heather was dx in Jan 2006 she lost 4 ribs and had no metasticize. I have read your journal and wanted to thank you for continuing to update. Heather is dealing with a lot of extra stresses lately and helped to see that she is not alone. She is now 11 and also recently asked me about having children and cried in despair wondering if her child if she could have them would have something wrong with it. Such big touch questions from kids whose only concern should be which PS3 game they are going to play next. Anyway Heather often sleeps 12-16 hours and we ask as you do what's up with that because she too was very tired before diagnosis. We worry about depression since she is struggling with her emotions and difficulties with school. School that has been a whole other issue . Anyway thank you again God Bless,

Congratulations on the results of the latest scans. As a mom of a Ewings patient I can't wait until we reach the point you are at now. My 12 year old son has Ewings, lost his left leg above the knee in May and we leave tomorrow to get his last Chemo treatment. My prayers are with you and your little one.

I went to Maggie's service on Saturday...I was so moved by
all the people that love her. I loved hearing the stories
that Uncle Phil told. It was a beautiful service for a
beautiful girl. I gave Cindy a big hug...a few of them.
Oh I am going to miss that girl...I do believe there is a
heaven and I know she is running free with no pain.
I just wish she was pain free and running here on earth.
We have to find these children a cure!! My heart can't
take much more of this.

Hi, my name is Paula and my daughter was dianosed Jan 06 with Ewings of the 7th left rib and had the 5th-8th rib resected. Scans have been clear and as with your daugther the tumor was necrotic at surgery. I am curious about the Gortex prosthetic and how it has been is comparison to growth. My daughter has a ridge in her back where it appears the plate is sticking through the surgeon will look at it on the 31st of this month and thinks he may need to build up the area with more tissue? to provide Heather more comfort. I loved your dandelion story...I too have received many
dandelions and probably gave out many dandelions...when you
are a kid and a grown-up tells you they aren't flowers,
they are weeds...you just don't believe them! In my heart,
they will always be flowers....great story!

Did you check out Maryah's website...she danced!! Boy was
that a sight...or a blur through my tears! You can do anything
you put your mind to :)
