So much has changed in just 5 days since my last post. Daddy is sleeping a lot more now. Yesterday he woke up to eat while he listened to an encouraging message from his sister, Auntie Yvonne. His granddaughter Samantha came to see him in the afternoon. He seemed to not recognize her at first, then after 5 mins he said, “Sammie, I was so proud of you when I heard you sing at your school!” That was a precious gift for her.
A friend sent me this quote yesterday:
“You can’t skip chapters, that’s not how life works.
You have to read every line, meet every character.
You won’t enjoy all of it.
Hell, some chapters will make you cry for weeks.
You will read things you don’t want to read, and you will have moments when you don’t want the pages to end.
But you have to keep going.
Stories keep the world revolving.
Live yours, don’t miss out.”
