We want to thank everyone for your thoughts, presence, prayers, and stories shared. Our mom was a special lady. We already knew that. 😉 However, it has been amazing to see just how many people's lives she touched. She has been laid to rest in The Black Hills National Cemetery, plot L234. Essentially turn left in the gates and keep turning left. Thank you to Open Bible Sturgis, Reverend Regie and his wife Johnetta for a moving service and reception after the funeral. All of our family has returned home. Our dad will be at Paula's place in Minnesota for the winter recovering from his illness and sorting through mom's things. There are many friends and family in the area so hopefully there will be plenty of support available. If you're in the area, take him out for coffee! He'd love it! Keep him in your prayers as he learns to navigate without his sweet lady by his side. ❤️
