Please share with your dad if he doesn’t log onto this site himself. I was driving from KY to Alaska to take my son’s truck to him. I had routed my trip so that I could come through Rapid City. I had researched the hospital visitation policy which said exceptions could be made with a manager’s approval. My plan was to beg to be allowed to stand outside Vickie’s door or window and blow her kisses, just so that she would know how much she means to me. I received the call that she had passed as I was traveling. I stopped and spent the night in Rapid City as planned. As I was too late to see my precious friend, I spent several hours exploring places I had heard her and Ron speak of several times (and had hoped to experience with them in person)…… Sturgis, Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, the canyon. I celebrated and honored her and what she added to my life with each of God’s masterpieces that I experienced. She is forever in my heart.
Got to hug up Paula today and visit with your sweet dad as well. I'm so happy he's able to be here in Foley.....neat man and I know it's a blessing to Paula and her family to have him as well as a blessing to him. He's definitely in good hands and these guys are surrounded by a lot of love and people who care. 💕
