Journal
Update from our San Fran trip last week - her MRI looked good, with no areas of concern. Last week's visit marked 9 months since her diagnosis so we were glad to hear this. Her blood count numbers were still too low while we were there, low enough that she couldn't start her 6th month of chemo on schedule, but she did retest on Friday when we returned home and they were up and high enough to start up again...so she is now 3 of 5 days into her 6th and final round of the chemo 'standard of care' and should be done by Wed. All fingers are crossed that she can now begin to fully recover from all the chemo and able to focus on a 'return to normal' - whatever that is. We are hoping it means a more functional immune system and the ability to go out and socialize a bit more. We will still be traveling to San Fran for her clinical trial every two months - so back again in early April for what we hope is the vaccine and continued well being. Thanks again to everyone along with us on this journey and hoping for the best.
Love to everyone, Kevin and Tracy.
