Tina was discharged yesterday and we're home! We had a very special surprise yesterday. Just before Tina was about to leave, Janet, the mother of Jeff, Tina's first heart donor, stopped by for a visit. Her visit was not planned and had she arrived an hour later we would have missed her. I believe her timely visit, and walking with Tina to our car to see us off, was not coincidental, there was something magical and miraculous about this moment.
