UPDATE: We met with surgeon yesterday who was great! He’s getting Tim added back on their tumor board for multidisciplinary care at main campus. He will also be discussing Tim’s case with a liver surgeon. The concern right now is the lung nodules that have popped up again. They can’t do surgery with those there. But he said they’re very treatable as they’re tiny.
Then today, we met with an oncologist who is getting Tim set up to start receiving a new 2-drug combo. One is a monoclonal antibody and the other is a targeted drug specific to Tim’s gene mutation.
