Timothy’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Tim was recently diagnosed with colon cancer that has metastasized to his liver and lung.  He will be undergoing multiple surgeries and chemo.   His first surgery (colostomy)  was completed and went well.  Tim is now at home resting until July 11th when chemo starts.   Thank you for visiting and all of the prayers!!

UPDATE: We met with surgeon yesterday who was great!  He’s getting Tim added back on their tumor board for multidisciplinary care at main campus. He will also be discussing Tim’s case with a liver surgeon. The concern right now is the lung nodules that have popped up again. They can’t do surgery with those there. But he said they’re very treatable as they’re tiny. 

Then today, we met with an oncologist who is getting Tim set up to start receiving a new 2-drug combo. One is a monoclonal antibody and the other is a targeted drug specific to Tim’s gene mutation. 

Thanks for all your prayers and support!  Feeling very hopeful we’re on the right track!
