Hello family and friends of Tim Jahn,

On Friday morning Tim and Ron Rechlicz were at the farm in Harrisville turkey hunting or most likely just being turkey’s themselves...lol.
Ron knowing Tim so well noticed Tim was “off “ and having a hard time expressing himself. His quick thinking led to a 911 call. The EMTs assessed him and believed he was having a stroke so off to Portage hospital he went. Was blessed with a quick thinking staff who recognized that he needed more advanced care. Tim received a helicopter ride to UW Madison hospital. Yesterday they did surgery @ UWMH to possibly break and remove a clot that is in a vein in his brain that affects his speech. They administer TPA and the clot did break up but it did not totally resolve they felt they were better off leaving the clot alone then trying to “suck it out”they could do more harm than good. The doctor feels that this area of the brain will rebuild itself and Tim will regain his speech please pray for God to heal Tim.
I arrived in Madison yesterday at about 4:30  Friday with Aaron and his girlfriend Noreen they are taking good care of me and we are staying in Madison.
Today Tim will have a swallow assessment OT and PT assessments I will be at the hospital all day. I will try to return calls messages as much as I can but we felt this was a good way for our family and friends to communicateWe take gods blessings day by day he was not alone at the farm and has a positive prognosis.
God is good every day every way!!!
Cindy

Happy Thanksgiving
It has been some time since I posted some thing on Tim‘s page. Well here goes….
It was an interesting summer. Sometime in early summer we went for the one year check up for Tim’s shoulder replacement surgery. Classic Tim, as the surgeon is walking out the room he said my shoulder seems to be a little puffy( he of course never mentioned it to me)….. and so begins the infection. A slow growing weak bacteria. In August Tim went under the knife again and our surgeon decided to take the shoulder replacement out. Dr L was worried that just cleaning it and inserting it back in would not kill this little Tim loving bacteria. Dr L put in a cement, antibiotic infused spacer, so Tim has been literally without a shoulder since the beginning of August. Tim has been treated with antibiotic infusions and oral antibiotics, he has had a weekly blood test and on December 1 Tim will go back into surgery to put a new shoulder in.
This Thanksgiving we have made the the difficult decision to isolate. COVID seems to be out there everywhere we are doing everything to try and prevent a delay of this next surgery. We plan to rehab in the Florida Keys.
Please pray that we stay free of Covid and Tim has a successful shoulder replacement surgery.
We did have many things to be thankful for this summer and fall.
Boat rides
Music in the Park
Kylah and family living with us as she was waiting to move into their new home
Lots of time spent with family, friends and neighbors
We even snuck in a couple Packer parties
Lots of time at the new hunting property. Which I have named Oak Hill.
 Many Birthdays celebrations
A new great grandchild to hold
And all of your prayers.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with Gods Blessings.
Hug someone and tell them you love them today.
Cindy
