Newest Update

Journal entry by Tim Hoyt Duncan

Dear Caring Bridge Friends,
I'm giving you the latest update.  I wish it was news of Nancy and I taking a trip to Alaska, the one state I've not yet visited, but we will have to settle for 49 of 50, as I am now a part of the Hospice Program.  It has been a challenging three and a half year journey, but our oncologist on Friday confirmed that they have run out of all options.
I want to thank you for your most wonderful support from Day One of my Caring Bridge journal, with very special thanks to those who have made Tributes and those of you who have taken the time to write messages.  Please know how supportive that has been to me.
We don't know if I have days or weeks; Nancy and I are living into the hope that we have weeks.  At some point when worship can be public again, we will have a memorial service at our church here in Columbia.  In the meantime, thank you again for surrounding us with your love and support.
With great appreciation,
Tim
