I have known Ted as a colleague and friend for a decade now, and have consistently been impressed by his decency as well as his intelligence, competence and strength of character in the face of adversity. In truth I have loved him and still do.

Ted's condition is rapidly deteriorating. He's sleeping off and on throughout the day in a hospital bed. Conversation is difficult because of a persistent cough . Home hospice began today. Please pray that his transition is peaceful.

Ted, As always, you are candid, strong, and faithful in this message. I cannot add to what others have said, but I do agree with them. I wish you continued peace.

Grateful for your faith and endurance. Glad that you are able to have a brief respite from chemo.
