Hi Everyone,
Our move is almost complete.

Almost the entire house was painted. Friends came to help with painting. Trying to get everything ready for us to move in. A few issues came up with plumbing and leaks. Ty chose 4 colors for his room which wasn't painted yet. Raj, Kevin, the Murr family and many others have been here so much helping and doing things we don't know exactly how to do yet. Now to figure out a design for all the color. We fell in love with the gray but wanted a shade with a bit more blue in it, and maybe not as dark.

The first trip out to the house we met several neighbors. This is the best area for us right now, we have a retired couple next door and are working with them to fix things that were ignored by the previous owners. It is a nice, quiet, friendly street that looks out for each other it reminds me of a few places. We are safe here, protected by veterans, motorcycle enthusiasts, and the neighbors all have cameras pointing everywhere. It feels like being on a base without being on one. Similar to a small Texas town. We have been introduced by people to other neighbors and many others have seen us, spoken to us and offered help, next door they put up a swimming pool and invited us over. Their dog has our scents now and doesn't bark, at least not that we can hear.

Johnny, Shelley and Gage have come to help with Ty, and they know our neighborhood almost as well as their own. We are closer to some friends now, distance wise. A bit of a drive for others but we can get to others quickly. One thing that means the world to me is Shelley and Johnny prayed with me in every room of the new house. Many of those who have helped us move or work on issues with the house have all at one point or another prayed in our home.

Terrence is now 40 as of the 22nd. I will be 41 on May 4th. Birthdays right in a row.

A few days ago, I thought our Alley Cat (16yrs old) ran away. I searched for 2 days for her. Walking around the  house calling her with an occasional answer from her. Apparently, Alley was playing Marco Polo with me. Turns out she was in the crawl space the whole time. We were able to get the cats back home with us tonight.

My Mom, aka Nana and Nana Gelene, finished up at quilt camp and came to help me organize and unpack some. They also came with me to the old house to finish cleaning up there and a few last bits of gathering stuff. Both amazing ladies that I would be lost without. They put up a few pictures and made it feel more cozy. We are in just over double Sq ft from the last house.

We only have a couple more days before we head out to NY. A few friends have offered to come with us to avoid another situation like last time. Maybe going in a day earlier will help...nervous about all of it. We will leave Sunday morning 7:40am and get back late Wednesday night. We have rides for both. Terrence is leaving for work.

I will share our new address later on. We went from inside Denver city limits to being on the outskirts of the metro area in Lochbuie. Pronounced Lock-boo-eee.

Just glad we have our cats. Now to get some color back on the walls, get our curtains up, light fixtures put back in and put interior doors back on. Eventually, we will be settled in here. Then I can stop being accident proned. I have fallen off a chair, hit my forehead with a metal bar for a closet, punched part of the freezer, scrapped my hand on brick, had my arm closed in the back of my suv, got a cat claw in my cheek, Ty is as graceful as I am. He went to got up a ramp in the back of Terrence's work van. Ty miss stepped and smacked his shin on the ramp a bruise over most of his leg, an allergic reaction of sorts. Terrence didn't escape the mayhem a large set of keys has seemed to vanished. We are running on 4 hrs of sleep a night.

We are truly blessed.  Family and friends are here for us in so many ways. Ty has said that he wants his nurses to go with us to NY because he trusts and knows them. The social workers from here to go and part of his in-home team.

Still so much to catch up on but for now it's bed time, if these cats ever stop meowing as they explore.

Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for the trip to NY. Our dear friend has one more treatment and hopefully it's the last. All the travel and that the nurses will be more open to being at the right level  to work with him and actually listen.

We love and miss all of you very much.
