Today I’m happy to add another name to the list of people we are praying for: Pamela is my transplant coordinator… the nurse who will walk me through all the details of my upcoming adventure. She called today to let me know that my transplant date has been set for June 5th and I will check in to City of Hope on May 24th… three weeks from today. I’m feeling a mix of emotions between excitement and anxiousness, but mostly I am just thankful to have a date set and also to have these next three weeks at home to enjoy… I am especially happy to get to spend Mother’s Day and my birthday surrounded by my family and friends to fill my heart with joy before heading down south.
