We’ve been so busy, I skipped right over April. I will never complain about being busy again. It’s been amazing! 

Sam is doing great! He had his monthly appointment today in Denver with a spinal treatment and chemo infusion and handled them both well. He started another 5 day push of steroids today, which I loathe!! Steroids are one of the worst parts of his treatment. 😩 

Sam has continued to attend school full time and we are all so excited for summer…in approximately 5.5 days for them, 6.5 for me!!! ☀️ We are excited to have an actual summer, filled with swimming, a few small trips, and seeing family. Sam has been doing the local elementary track club and has started baseball, which he’s loving. He’s such an active little guy. I don’t know how he does it. It’s pretty amazing to see-he’s out playing basketball as I’m writing this…after getting chemo today…seriously, Ahhhmazing!! 🥲 💪🏼💪🏼

His labs have been on the higher end of the range they are wanting and we pray that continues, so he can continue to stay healthy and full of energy. 🙏🏻 

Sam got a surprise visit last week from two sweet gals from MAW (Make-A-Wish) telling him his wish has been granted and he leaves June 3!! He’s so excited!! He will be getting a trip to the Lego store in Denver, staying at the Gaylord Resort, and maybe an arcade and baseball game. He initially wanted to go to Legoland but we weren’t quite ready to take that kind of trip yet so far from his medical team. We told him we’d take him anywhere he wants to go after treatment and he seemed ok with that. 😝

We are truly blessed and thank God everyday for his continued good health. I know y’all are still praying and we are so grateful! Thank you so very much!! ❤️ Wishing you all a great start to your summer!
