Happy Easter!! 🐰 ✝️

What a difference a year makes. Last Easter, Sam was in the beginning phase of intense chemo and it was so hard to see the effects it was having on him. Today our boy continues to thrive, is full of energy, up at 6am jumping into our bed and demanding us to get up to see what the Easter bunny brought! We are truly blessed! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sam continues to do great! He has been going to school full-time, granted they’ve had several short weeks due to parent-teacher conferences and the Easter break, but he has been going full days and has extra energy to get him through the evening. 🤪 He’s the energizer 🐰! We met with his teacher for conferences and both of us were teary eyed listening to her rave about how well he’s been doing in school. We are so proud of him!

He had a 5-day chemo stent last week and tolerated it well. Our second to last 5-day treatment…yay! His oncologist is very pleased with how well he’s doing and his labs were looking great. He got to see his nurse and child life specialist besties and had some Posey 🐶 snuggles.

Nothing but positive updates for March! 💪🏼🙌🏻🙌🏻We feel the continued prayers for Sam and words will never express our gratitude! Our sweet boy continues to show us such strength and lifts us up through this journey! Thank you all for continuing to pray and follow Sam’s journey. ❤️
