Sign In to Show Your SupportI did it. I finished the treatment plan!! Today was the last chemo infusion. Weird to think I won’t have to sit in that chair again. Well every six weeks will still have to flush the port but I won’t be getting comfy under a blanket that’s for sure! I can’t thank the nurses enough for their patience and comfort during this last year and three months either. Nurses are really angels. And a huge thank you to all who were able to take time to go with me, visit, text, sent amazing treats and gifts and just gave so much support. You all made this time so much more bearable.
Now I go thru maintenance, take that horrid daily pill, blood work, some scans here and there and keep moving forward with fingers crossed! Next month I have quite a few things lined up but they are for coughing and the stomach thing. Hope we can get some answers there and be able to move on as well.
School is almost out - next week and while I have enjoyed taking over a 4th grade classroom these last two months - I’m ready for summer! Reece is about to become a senior, Coop successfully coached a jv team this season and Marley will be home in two weeks. They will all three be working at Rusts Flying Service this summer and we are all hoping for great weather! We’ve got some fishing and lake time to get to.
May you all be blessed with great health and the best karma for all you did for me and the family. Much love! 🩷
