Hello all,

No major changes to report today but Rusty is continuing to sleep the entire time, day and night. When I need to rouse him for medications, it's becoming harder and harder and he only stays semi-alert for the few nanoseconds I need to place the medication in his mouth.  Without going into specifics, the night times are very difficult for me - and I can tell for him as well.  He is still talking aloud some and every time he speaks, I've got my full attention and love focused on him so I can hopefully catch any bit of meaning he wants to share.  This transition is the most bittersweet thing I have ever experienced. It feels like the worst nightmare ever just being dragged out - going hand in hand with the last bit of time we'll have with him here on this earth.  Keep sending the love - it's what is keeping us going.  Much love to all, Karen xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
