This week we celebrated my birthday. It has become a tradition that I make a list of blessings that coincide with how old I am. I love this tradition because it turns my heart toward gratitude on my birthday. That feels especially important this birthday with Jeremy's health looming overhead. And there are so many blessings that we are thankful for during this time. We celebrated with a sunset beach picnic and some fun at Epcot. Would you pray that God would fill our hearts with thankfulness?

Ellie's dance recital is this weekend! There is twirling, make up, costumes, the stage. Ellie has been feeling nervous and stressed recently. Please pray that God would settle her nerves and that she could dance for Jesus, feeling His delight over her. 

Next week is Wedding Week! Jeremy has been recovering from his last chemo treatment. Please pray that God will sustain him through this week, keep him healthy with good rest each night, and give him energy to enjoy all the moments with family and friends. Please pray that all of us could hold the tension between joy and grief, that we could feel God's strength and peace as we celebrate God's faithfulness in bringing Kayla and Derrick together in marriage. We want to treasure and ponder, to be present in the moment, and love each other well with the love of Christ. Thanks for walking this journey with us. We feel your prayers and your love.
