Hi all!
Well, as we head into fall, we're feeling super grateful that we've been able to get outside and take advantage  of some of the weather. Rob's energy has been pretty stable for the last two months. He has been taking  a steroid to help with the  nausea the first few days of his chemo infusions and  it's  helped his appetite, his nausea, and given him more energy too!  We have been kayaking  several  times since buying  a tandem boat a couple of months ago.
Rob is still very sensitive to cold, but the weather has been so warm that he's been able to  float without too much trouble.
We also went fishing on a pontoon boat! Thanks Ben & Cassie- that was a wonderful experience for  both of us!

Rob had another  CT scan of his abdomen on Monday this week  that showed the carciomatosis has been  fairly stable in growth and somewhat improving in density. His blood work every couple of  weeks  shows continuing  trends that are all moving in the correct direction. His weight  has also been holding  steady! Good job Robert 👏 👍 (Rob if you read this it's time for a snack!! Haha)

So after 12(!) rounds of the  chemo cocktail Fol-fox Rob is being  switched to another  cocktail  called Folfiri to avoid  any  permanent  nerve damage  from that aggressive  drug. Most people  need to stop around 8 rounds due to the debilitating  side effects,  but Rob's  body has tackled that challenge  like a champ! 12 rounds instead of 8 has given us an extra two months of mostly stable symptoms and I'm super grateful  we were able to enjoy so many good times during  the  last 8 weeks.

Please  continue to  keep Rob in your  thoughts and prayers. We appreciate  everyone  who reaches out so much! Rob has an MRI of his brain coming up as a precaution  for some vision changes he has been experiencing and I'll post an update after we get the results in a few weeks.

Love you all- stay safe, and don't forget to vote!
Sherry
