Kaala and I have been back on Maui for two weeks. We celebrated Easter with our Emmanuel Lutheran 'ohana, and on the following Sunday, sat with Hokuao, our worship team. This morning, we went to Emmanuel school to watch the May Day program. It was the first time either of us visited the campus during a school day. I visited my kindergarten kids in their classroom as they were getting ready for the program. Kaala also had many students and parents welcome him back. The program was beautiful, the weather was great, and it all made for a really nice morning.

We have begun to receive therapy at home through Hale Makua home health care. It's not nearly as much therapy as we were getting on Oahu, so we are now doing much of the work ourselves. Our brother-in-law, Mark Bowditch arrived this week, and is already motivating Kaala to continue to work hard. Our days have been busy with therapy, doctor appointments and getting settled in our little studio. I am not planning to keep up with this journal now that we are home, but please don't hesitate to call, text or email if you want to visit or stay in touch with us. We are so thankful to all of you for your continued prayers and support.
