Journal entry by Elizabeth Banwart

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this.  Pierrette (Pete) Leveille Goodhue passed away this afternoon.
She went into cardiac arrest.  They were able to resuscitate her long enough for us (Ed and Beth) to be there.  Her brother Fr. Andre Leveille and Monsignor Jaeger were able to bestow a last blessing on her via phone.  We were able to say our good byes and she passed quickly and peacefully.
We have tried to let as many people know as we can and we’re sorry if we were unable to get to you.  We felt this was the best way to reach out to everyone.
We take comfort knowing just how special of a woman she was and how many lives she has touched.  We know her legacy will live on in all of you in some way.  She lived to love and she did just that.  She was a very special woman who demonstrated kindness, compassion, energy and humor among so many other things and we are grateful and blessed to have known her.
She beat some miraculous odds during her lifetime and was a walking angel.  We know God called her home for something made just for her.
We cannot thank you all enough for the kind words, support, positive thoughts, encouragement and prayers.

Please know she will live on in your hearts.
Hope Always Awake

Due to coronavirus, we will be planning services at a future date when we know more people can attend.

Love,
Ed and Beth
