Second chemo went as well as the first! No reactions to anything! We were there for about 7 hours but future ones will be shorter since I tolerate the drugs well, they can push them through faster next time. Hope I’ll have 7 days or so now of feeling decent Then things go south for 5 or so days followed by another 5 good days leading to next chemo on June 19th! At that’s what they tell me anyway!
Went in today for a thoracentisis, but the ultrasound showed that the fluid pocket was too small to risk draining, so they want me to wait another 10 days or so to see if it grows. Hopefully the chemo will stop it entirely!
On a fun note - after chemo Colen bravely shaved off the last bit of my hair! We laughed a lot through it and he did a good job! Thursday I went with my friend Cathy and picked out a new “do”! Probably won’t wear it all the time but it will sure be easy to do my hair! I highly recommend Creative Hair Design - there is one right in downtown Hastings and one in Roseville. Personal service and tons of products to help those going through chemo to keep up positive spirits!!
