Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it as the primary source of information to keep family and friends up to date.


Patricia (Fries) Holmes suffered a broken leg and shattered heel on March 26, 2018. Unfortunately, that was the beginning of discovering further medical issues. On June 28, 2018, Patricia was diagnosed with Cushing’s Syndrome and Adrenal Cortical Cancer, which has spread beyond her adrenal gland to many other parts of her body. She is currently being treated in Kenosha, WI and at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, supported by her loving family, husband Greg, son Brandon, and many siblings, in-laws, nieces & nephews, and friends.

Patricia passed away around 5 pm today.  My amazing son,  Pat's beautiful brother and I were with her all the way. She squeezed my hand very hard and then passed.  I am devastated  beyond words as Patty and I have been married an known each other for over 40 years. Peace and immeasurable love to my soul mate.
