Pat’s Story

Site created on July 29, 2016

When this site was created back in 2016, Pat had powered through a benign brain tumor removal. He didn't stay down long  and was given a clean bill of health!  After breezing through a much needed hip replacement surgery in November 2019, Pat started  having some pain in his shoulder and rib area. Through MRI and additional testing, Pat was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Pat has advanced stage IV Adenocarcinoma. Pat is fighting a good fight and bravely facing this disease. After his diagnosis, he immediately  had radiation  and has had two rounds of chemo.   He is currently at his home in Lakeway with 24 hour staffed care supplemented by Hospice Austin.

Pat is no longer mobile.  He truly  misses seeing all of his friends and participating in the many events that have always kept him busy!

We are remaining positive and praying for a miracle.
