Good grief—I know I’m a bit late in updating. Life has been really busy lately so we took my clean scan as a given (and a gift.). Yes, you heard that right, the most recent scan of my lungs and the rest of my abdomen were all clear. The doctor almost said that I was in remission (Dave started getting all technical with what could actually be seen given his expert review of my scan (that was just a tiny bit of sarcasm mostly said with love.). So instead I get to stick to NED (or no evidence of disease.). Next scan will be late August.
So the miracle continues…I‘ve gotten lots of extra days from what the statistics would say…the data scientist proving that data science isn’t always right. In the last month, I’ve gotten to see Kai play his first spring high school band concert, Max have his last day of high school (he graduates Wednesday), Irondale win an unexpected Ultimate Frisbee State Championship (Div 3) and lots of everyday wonderfulness with some sprinkles of hard things too.
I hope everyone else is enjoying the spring, the graduations and the end of school. If I haven invited you to Mac’s graduation party yet-consider it as an oversight on my part. As I said I’m a little behind!
