Do I need to say more?
On Friday the nurse called with the news we have been waiting for - I passed 200 t cells!! No words can describe our happiness and excitement and I still don’t think I’ve fully processed it. It is really over and I am in the clear. We did it!! And right in time for me to move into the city on September 1st.
A year and 8 months from first being diagnosed, 14 months since my transplant, this journey has tested all of our patience more than we could have ever imagined, but it’s over - and here’s to only looking ahead!
Most importantly though, I want to thank you all. Almost 7 years from when I was first diagnosed, I am so grateful for all the support I have gotten. Your support is what got me here and I’m truly speechless. I wish I could thank you all in person, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Here’s to a life full of health and happiness. And to never hearing the word cancer again!
