After a long week of discussion and research, it has been decided that Colleen's car is not worth fixing and she will have to get a different car. As you can imagine, this adds additional stress to her life when she has been struggling already. (Please see update from April 17,2024)
Thankfully, God is faithful and someone has stepped up and offered to do a $5000 matching donation. This family will match every dollar we receive up to $5000. They have also offered to help her look for a reliable car. We are so grateful for the donation and for this family. If we are able to achieve this, it will give her $10,000 for a car.
It is important that she have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work, back-and-forth to Madonna to see Nich, an occasional trip to Grand Island to see her grandchildren and back to SD to see Tyler whenever possible. She always checks in with friend when she travels and she does have AAA.
